NS2 Training 

This simulator is widely used for simulating the research in different wireless domains such as MANET, WSN, Zigbee, WBAN, LTE, 4G, 5G, WIMAX, WIFI etc. and other wired networks. The research is contributed at different layers such as MAC protocol, Routing Protocol, Queues, Bandwidth allocation.

NS2 training program is conducted in three days:


Day 1: Introduction and Configurations

Day 2: TCL Script Designing and Simulation

  • Introduction of TCL

  • Preparing Scenario file
  • Preparing Traffic File
  • Trace File Analysis
  • Exercise Allocation

Day 3: Working with Protocols (Routing and MAC)

  • Checking Allocated Exercise
  • Introduction of Routing Protocols in NS2
  • Introduction of MAC Protocols in NS2
  • Adding of New MAC/Routing Protocol in NS2
  • Performance Measurement in NS2
  • Exercise Allocation

Day 4: NS2 Training Completion Certificate

  • Checking and Verifying Allocated Exercise
  • Issuing Training Completion Certificate
